Landscape Design of Dubai World Expo Public Space

迪拜市于2020年10月至2021年4月举办世博会，占地438公顷，容纳200多个国家的展馆，以通用主题和沉浸式体验将各国聚集在一起。

From October 2020 to April 2021, Dubai hosted the World Expo, covering an area of 438 hectares and accommodating exhibition halls from over 200 countries, bringing together countries with universal themes and immersive experiences.

公共景观由地铁欢迎广场、南广场、北广场，Leadership展馆等组成，公共景观部分由SWA进行设计。

The public landscape is composed of subway welcome square, south square, north square, Leadership exhibition hall, etc. The public landscape is designed by SWA.

该设计的特点是一系列自遮阳、绿树成荫的街道，以及各种不同大小和主题的庭院空间。

中央脊柱贯穿每个区，创造了特殊的场所，包括水景、活动舞台、活动区和令人兴奋的休息场所，聚集在一系列优雅的遮阳结构下方。

The characteristics of this design are a series of shaded green trees, self shading, humanized streets, and various courtyard spaces of different sizes and themes.

The central spine runs through each area, creating special spaces, including water features, activity stages, activity areas, and exciting rest areas, gathered under a series of elegant shading structures.

Central connecting garden that becomes the focus of attention

世博会场地围绕一个中央广场，即SWA与Adrian Smith+Gordon Gill建筑事务所联合设计的无与伦比的天穹Al Wasl中央连接花园。

The Expo site is surrounded by a The Centrium, that is, the incomparable vault Al Wasl Central Link Garden jointly designed by SWA and Adrian Smith+Gordon Gill Architects.

花园受到65米高的圆顶格子的保护，该结构的织物面板可以保护游客免受阳光照射，允许空气自由流动，并为户外娱乐提供投影表面。

Al Wasl Garden is protected by a 65 meter high dome grid. The fabric panel of this structure can protect tourists from sunlight, allow free air flow, and provide a projection surface for outdoor entertainment.

主题区由分布在三个独立“花瓣”上的86座永久性建筑组成。三片花瓣通过不同的几何形状、景观和颜色来描绘反映三个主题：流动性、机遇和可持续性。

这些空间体现了如何在缓解极端气候条件的同时增强公共领域的体验。

The theme area consists of 86 permanent buildings distributed on three independent "petals". The three petals depict three themes through different geometric shapes, landscapes, and colors: fluidity, opportunity, and sustainability.

These spaces reflect how to enhance the public domain experience while mitigating extreme weather conditions.

SWA将主要环形大道设计成一条引人注目的遮阳人行长廊，使访客穿梭于世博的三个主题区。

环道的两旁是阿联酋国树牧豆树，位于林荫大道两侧，在整个世博园区内建立了一条绿色走廊。

SWA has designed the main circular boulevard as a eye-catching shaded pedestrian corridor, allowing visitors to shuttle through the three theme areas of the World Expo.

On both sides of the ring road is Prosopis juliflora, the national tree of the United Arab Emirates, which is located on both sides of the boulevard. A green corridor has been built in the entire Expo site.

环路大道的遮阳结构提供了遮阳的庇护所，其设计灵感来自于飞行中的鸽子的风格化轮廓，为大道赋予了一种通风而有趣的主题。

The shading structure of Ring Road provides a shelter for shading, inspired by the stylized silhouette of pigeons in flight, giving the road a ventilated and interesting theme.

The paving materials are above the SRI solar reflection standard, effectively preventing the formation of heat island effects.

A diversified park suitable for all types of tourists

沿着环形大道，访客还能到达馆区之间大量的景观空间，包括两个主要公园：Jubilee、Al Forsan公园与Ghayath步道，为游客提供了丰富的景点，包括表演空间、游乐场、喷泉等。

Along the circular road, visitors can also reach a large amount of landscape space between the museum areas, including two main parks: Jubilee, Al Forsan Park, and Ghayath Trail, providing visitors with a variety of attractions, including performance spaces, amusement parks, fountains, and more.

迪拜世博会公共区域将迎来数千万游客，吸引他们的是引人注目的、耐久的景观，既能适应当地气候，又能在其中繁衍生息的强大物种。

The Dubai World Expo public area will welcome tens of millions of tourists, attracted by the eye-catching and durable landscape, which can adapt to the local climate while also praising the powerful species that thrive in it.

中央喷泉反映了圆顶的圆孔，并辅以七个额外的水景，每个水景都经过不同的处理，为游客提供休息和娱乐。
