大家好，我是猎头，因为现正为一个客户（世界五百强美国化工集团）在山东威海的合资厂寻求一位EHS Manager, 而自己本身是第一次接触这个职位，在Google上搜索资料时找来这里。

职位介绍如下：
Primary Function
 Development, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of site EHS procedures and programs, so that the site complies with all applicable EHS regulations and Rohm and Haas corporate EHS standards. Champion the site’s EHS programs so as to provide energy and involvement.
Major Job Responsibilities
 Prepare procedures, forms and systems for the site, to ensure compliance with local regulations, regional and corporate EHS standards/codes.
 Audit and maintain the site’s EHS systems and procedures.
 Ensure there is a regular formal EHS communication process between the EHS Manager and Site Manager/Management team. This is to ensure a timely and clear understanding of the site EHS programs status, the gaps, issues and action plans.
 Actively participate as a member of the site operations/management team, other cross-functional teams and project teams to provide EHS support to the sites goals and objectives.
 Coordinate the activities of the site EHS Committee to ensure it functions effectively and achieves its objectives.
 Ensure there is regular EHS communication with all site employees (includes site EHS committee, Emails, notices, meetings).
 Be the main contact person for local EHS regulators to communicate with.
 Communicate with regional and corporate EHS personnel to ensure they understand the sites issues and to obtain support for the site, as needed.
 Conduct contractor audits and assist with closing action points as required.
 Injury and near hit investigation, reporting, action point follow up. Effective use of root cause analysis technique.
 Facilitate the rehabilitation of employees who have suffered injuries, in accordance with the Work Rehabilitation Policy.
 Identifying site EHS training needs, preparing and conducting it.
 Manage the sites workplace exposure monitoring, interpretation of data, reporting results.
 Emergency response plan, drills and training (for the site and in many cases for the country).
 Monitoring the site safety journey progress, in association with the Site Manager, and enabling further growth/improvement in it.
 Managing licenses, permits, so as to ensure they are up to date. Writing reports to government authorities.
 Entering waste and incident data into the SAP system on a timely basis, and ensuring all this required data is entered and correct.
 EHS advocate, sells EHS to everyone, to help better understanding of the importance of EHS.

Requirement
 Fluent in Chinese and English in both verbal and written forms;
 College degree or higher in chemical engineering, chemistry, environmental science or other related fields;
 At least 5 years work experience in chemical company;
 Good communication skills;
 Good computer skills.

我现在和楼主的情况一样，也面临就业问题，看了这个讨论，也想做EHS了

长知识了，EHS是不是只是国外企业做的比较多啊？对于国内企业情况怎么样？有人知道不？

哎，47楼的说得对啊，干EHS这行也不容易啊，光每年出来的那一大堆的环保、安全、职业病防治的法律法规就够你忙得要死，你还得进行法律法规合归性评价，然后对公司领导、员工进行宣传、贯彻，有些还得根据实际情况做好相应的应急预案、人员培训。此外，一旦你的体系建立，你得对公司内存在的一些不附合项、隐患进行纠正、整改以及制定相应的预防措施，避免下次重复发生，此外你得保证体系正常运行、可控，另外每年国家政府部门又有N多的政府文件，总理讲话指示之类的，你到时说不定又要按照政府部门的要求准备好资料向政府部门上报自查自纠情况，此外哪个公司每年没有一些新建、改建、扩建和技改项目，环评必然少不了，反正活是N多，也累得要命，不过只要工作得当，还是有轻松得时候

同意，我以前在GE的塑料工厂做过运营，直接属于EHS部，这个部门在工厂的权力是最大的，大的企业比较重视
他们搞这个的人都是名牌硕士以上学历，这一行在大企业还是相当不错的
