Anewtypegeogrid-reinforcedsoilwall(GRW)combinedwithsoilcementwasdevelopedin
recentyearsbyauthors.Anumberoftests,asmaterialpropertytest,pullouttestbetweengeogridandsoil
cement,1Gloadingtest(Itoetal.2001),centrifugeshakingtabletest(Saitoetal.2006)andIn-situtest,were
conductedinordertoverifythestabilityofnewGRW.Besides,themethodwasappliedatover25construction
siteinJapan.Inthispaper,twocasesareselectedandresultsofIn-situtestandmeasurementarereported.InCase1,thenewGRWwasappliedtotheroadembankmentforconstructionandformaintenanceinaDamconstructionsite.TheRSWofcase2isalsoforaroadembankment.Inthesite,pullouttestwasconductedbesidesmeasurementofearthpressureandstrainofgeogrid.Finally,scopeoffutureworksbasedontheobtainedresultsofin-situtestsissuggested.
